Recently we celebrated our town's 100th anniversary! The celebration took place at the Chincoteague Community Center where people will be able to browse several exhibits on display, as well as look at the town throughout the last century through photographs and antiques. Several films related to Chincoteague were also shown. Thank you to the Chincoteague Community Center for helping us share the memories of the last 100 years!

Earth Day 2008
The Island was the host to it's first annual Earth Day Celebration. Thousands showed up at Robert Reed Park for food and fun. There was entertainment by local musicians, artists and educators, all coming to together seek new ways to protect and preserve the earth.
